Uber - is the risk from AV really worth the reward
While Uber may be fundamentally undervalued, the risk of permanent capital loss from autonomous vehicle disruption outweighs the limited upside (3x over several years), particularly given binary risk of the core rideshare model becoming obsolete. The opportunity cost of capital is too high relative to asymmetric downside.
