A bull case for Disney

Disney is trading at a historically low P/E (15x) with an implied growth rate of 4-11% depending on adjustments. Streaming profitability, strong IP optionality with AI-driven content cost reduction, and management's announced 8B+ share buyback and double-digit EPS guidance for 2026-2027 suggest meaningful upside from current levels despite near-term entertainment sector headwinds.

I’m still not buying NFLX. Why not $DIS?

Disney trades at an unjustifiable discount (17x earnings, $200B market cap) relative to Netflix (35x+ earnings, $400B). After assigning a conservative $50B value to streaming, the remaining $150B of core assets—parks, cruises, studios, and sports—are worth significantly more than the market prices them. Multiple catalysts including post-Iger expansion, international growth, cruise revenue, or a potential ESPN spin-off should re-rate the stock higher.
