The acquisition worked. But did Celsius pay too much? $CELH

Celsius' acquisition of Alani Nu has transformed its growth trajectory, but the question remains whether current valuation adequately reflects the growth already priced in. The analysis weighs bull and bear cases against the company's margin expansion and valuation metrics.

The value of Celsius is international growth

Celsius is positioned for significant international expansion with management's concrete goal of reaching 15% international revenue by 2031 (from 3.5% currently). The company's Pepsi distribution partnership and dual-brand strategy with Alani Nu enable replicable growth models, as evidenced by meaningful market penetration in Sweden.

June calls to be rolled out to July/September

CELH is criminally undervalued. My biggest YOLO ever - $95k

CELH trades at 9x EBITDA with strong growth and market-share gains, while Monster trades at 25x with slower growth. Strong EBITDA trajectory and successful Alani NU integration position CELH for a re-rating to $50+, still at a discount to Monster's valuation multiple.

June calls rolling out to July/September

CELH is criminally undervalued. My biggest YOLO ever - $95k

CELH trades at 9x EBITDA with strong growth and Alani Nu integration progressing, while Monster trades at 25x. As the #3 energy drink brand with fastest-in-category growth and cheapest valuation multiple, the stock should easily reach $50.
